The Cumberland County Greens stand in solidarity with the striking workers of the Little Dog Coffee Shop in Brunswick, Maine. We support their right to organize and bargain collectively for better working conditions and fair treatment. We condemn the owner’s refusal to address their legitimate grievances and his attempts to undermine their union.
We believe that workers’ rights are human rights, and that a living wage, a safe workplace, and a voice on the job are essential for a just and democratic society. We applaud the courage and solidarity of the Little Dog Coffee Shop workers, and we call on the owner to meet their demands and end this unnecessary conflict.
